Yvonne Body

Yvonne received her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and psychology at Mount St. Mary’s University in 1990. She initially worked in different clinical settings and gravitated toward outpatient orthopedics where she has maintained her focus.  Yvonne obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy in 1999 from the McKenzie Institute International.  She achieved her Master’s in Health Science from Nova Southeastern University in Spring of 2018 and completed her Doctor of Health Science at Nova Southeastern University in December 2019.

Yvonne joined the McKenzie Institute as teaching faculty in 2002 and holds a position of Senior Faculty member.  She has lectured throughout the US and presented at numerous conferences.  Yvonne has participated in several committees and was appointed to the International Education Council in 2021. 

Yvonne is an Assistant Professor at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, San Marcos campus.  Her research interests are on post-professional education and learning, clinical reasoning, and interprofessional collaboration.
